Jill Becker

Hello

My name is Jill, I am an acupuncturist and herbalist with a focus on mind-body health, pain management, digestive issues, auto-immune conditions, mood imbalances, and women’s health.

My journey with Traditional Chinese Medicine began in 2012 when I began to seek treatment for my own chronic conditions, allergies, asthma, digestive issues, and chronic pain. At the time, western medicine could not provide me with solutions other than pharmaceuticals. I thought this was the only option for my conditions until a friend recommended acupuncture. I figured I did not have anything left to lose and started seeing an acupuncturist to treat my allergies. To my surprise, it worked! My allergy symptoms subsided and my passion for Chinese Medicine began. I wanted to know more, I needed to know more, and understand how these tiny needles could have such a beneficial impact on my health. It was then that I started my educational journey into this medicine. It was also through my experiences in both western and eastern medicine that I began to understand how both can work synergistically together, as both are needed, and how particularly important a wholistic and preventative approach can be.

I attended the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine where I earned my master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine which included training in acupuncture and herbal medicine. I have also been trained in adjunctive therapies that include tui na, moxibustion, cupping, auriculotherapy, electrical stimulation, gua sha, plum blossom, trigger point therapy, dietary and lifestyle recommendations. It was also in my first trimester of school that I had the pleasure of being treated by Renata, our relationship began, and lead me to rise acupuncture.

I am a licensed acupuncturist by DORA in the state of Colorado and a nationally certified Diplomate in Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). This includes certification in Clean Needle Technique and Acupuncture. In the past couple years, I have treated many patients who received the medicine, found relief, and were able to return to healthier state of being. My goal as a practitioner is to empower patients as they regain control and maintain their health, in order to live life with the quality they deserve. I strive to do this through a caring and empathic approach where patients are treated as an individual, in a safe, and trustful environment. I also bring to the table my extensive knowledge and I promise my patients I will continue to expound upon this knowledge to provide the best treatment approach possible.

“The treatments themselves do not ‘cure’ the condition, they simply restore the body’s self-healing ability.” -Leon Chaitow, N.D.,D.O.
